I have been a professional Triathlete since 2008, competing in the Olympic Gamesin Rio and Tokyo. In 2021 I changed to long distance, qualifying for both, 70.3 and Ironman World Championship.
My strengths lay in consistent top 3 out of the water and winning a full set of medals at Swiss running events. Gold at Half Marathon Swiss Championship, Silver at 10k track and Bronze in the 10k road race. My first Marathon experience ended with winning the Lucerne Marathon in 2h24.
During the past 16 years, I have been lucky enough to have been coached and inspired by 2 of the best triathlon coaches in the world, Brett Sutton and Ben Reszel. I have always been eager to learn anything about this sport!

I gained invaluable insights into triathlon swimming during my years training with Brett Sutton's group. Pool swimming is a different world from triathlon swimming. In a triathlon, you need explosive speed for the start and resilience to sustain it over the distance. An athlete who exits the water in the top 10 of an ITU or Ironman race with a high heart rate and feeling exhausted will struggle to succeed in the rest of the race. I had to learn this firsthand by listening to my body.
The same lessons applied to my running. During the pandemic, when swimming was off the table, I focused intensively on running—and that's when I truly learned what it takes to run 10k in under 30 minutes. It was hard work, but every effort counted.

Our journey begins with an introductory meeting where we’ll get to know each other and assess your current fitness level. From there, we’ll set clear goals, identify key races or milestones, and create a structured plan tailored to your needs.
Using TrainingPeaks and daily communication, we’ll work together to ensure every step of your training is purposeful and aligned with your objectives. You can choose from specialized plans in triathlon training, running, swimming, or cycling—or customize a program that suits your unique aspirations.

Ben Reszel is the coach who guided me back into racing after an eight-month illness. At my lowest point, he took me under his wing and coached me with patience and focus. Week by week, I gained speed and strength—without rush, overtraining, or pressure. Just steady, focused progress. Through him, I learned the value of patience in training. He possesses all the qualities I mentioned at the Top, along with extensive experience. Every day I learn from him what it takes to train some of the world’s best athletes. Right now he is coaching Patrick Lange, Mika Noodt, Braden Currie & Jelle Geens.
